Situated where now lies a vacant lot, the project was designed to formally complete Queen Square’s Parliamentary precinct providing exhibition, conference, and office space to public officials and the public. Framing Province House at the culmination of Great George Street, the design promotes accessibility to Islanders and transparency to the Island’s representatives. At this geographic juncture between Queen Square and the city, the scale and material palette has been studied in order to properly transition from official scale to residential scale.
